The Australian Hotels Association NSW (AHA NSW) is seeking to employ a 'Team Support & Administration Coordinator' to provide administrative and secretarial support to the Legal and Industrial Affairs Department on a permanent basis.

Located in Sydney's CBD, you will be working for Australia's premier hospitality industry association as part of a collaborative, high performing and service focussed team.

Position Accountabilities

Preparation of files and maintenance of file archives
Calendar and email management for members of the Department
Preparation/editing/formatting of documents and spreadsheets for various tasks
Coordination of the invoicing of billable matters
Assisting in the development and upkeep of fact sheets, resources and information for members
Coordination in all aspects of meeting and event preparation, including room set-up, catering, RSVP's, agenda and material preparation
Directing phone enquiries to relevant members of the Department
Preparation/editing/formatting of documents and spreadsheets for various tasks
Coordinating the Department's training and events calendar (including responsibility for booking registration, compiling seminar materials and invoicing)
Ensure office operational equipment and supplies are maintained and replenished
Essential Criteria

Computer literacy and proficiency in use of applications such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Excellent written and oral skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills in order to meet often-tight deadlines
Ability to work as part of a small team, and take a flexible approach to work
A strong client focus
Highly responsible and ethical with a mature approach to work, and the ability to ensure the confidentiality of work
Desirable Criteria

Experience in a similar role with a good understanding of the industrial relations/legal environment
Exposure in human resource management or industrial relations environment
Experience in a hotel environment or related hospitality industry sub-sector.
