RECEPTIONIST/ ADMIN ASSISTANT

Our Firm:

We are an inner-city boutique law firm with an 88-year history of specialised family law services. We have a strong reputation for quality and top-level client service. We are looking for someone with an enthusiastic attitude, eagerness to learn and great interpersonal skills to be the first point of contact for our firm.

This person will need to be outgoing, professional, highly organised and self-motivated.

The Role:

In this role you will be responsible for:

Answering, making and transferring calls for three businesses
Greeting, interacting and being the first port of call for clients
Processing outgoing and incoming mail and email
Administrative support, including: diary management, paper and electronic file management, receipting and banking of funds received from clients.
Typing from dictation, preparing and proofreading basic documents to a high standard.
Managing internal and external systems
General office organisation
This is a full time position.

The Candidate:

Required:

Have exceptional customer service skills with a wide variety of people
Have the ability to make a client feel comfortable whilst remaining professional at all times
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Works well in a small team or on tasks individually
Works well under pressure and have good time management skills
Proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
Have the ability to develop and maintain systems
Be able to touch-type from dictation at a professional level
Preferable

2 years' experience in a reception or admin role
Experience in a family law firm or other legal environment
Desirable:

Qualifications in administration or legal studies
Experience with the LEAP computer system
A basic knowledge of IT and computer network systems
An interest in marketing, graphic design and/or website maintenance
